Another battle has passed; another battle to face

Another quarter ends, and I am here hoping that I have high grades this quarter despite being lazy the whole quarter. I know that I am the one to blame, but I did my best to become a responsible student. The hardship of being here in science class is undeniably exhausting. But even though a lot of us made it this far, we might not have high grades this quarter, but at least we learned some lessons: "Being lazy does not mean you are lazy to do something; sometimes being lazy means you are just exhausted and you need some time to fix yourself and do better again."

I noticed that my sleeping time decreased because of the piles of activities to accomplish, subjects to review, and notes to rewrite. And because I lack sleep, I doze off in the middle of classes, which is why I lose focus. Even though I am hoping to have high grades, I just don’t expect much of them now.

So as we move on to the third quarter, I will try to bring back the old me—the competitive Edlyn-side of me.

And so, "Everything happens for a reason, so never lose hope when hardship strikes you, because hardships make you strong and make you a better person or a better version of yourself."
